Examinations of the visual function of the organ of sight:

Visual acuity
Position and motility of the eyeball and eyelids
Binocular – stereoscopic vision
Color vision /distinction between colors/

The determination of visual acuity and necessary corrections with spectacles and contact lenses is performed on an integral device that enables a comfortable examination without moving the patient.

Diagnostics of disorders of the visual function and illnesses of the organ of sight:

Determination of the refractive status of the eyes
Subjective, objective and computerized diopter determination
Examination of the visual field, optic nerve functions, macula /computerized visual field- perimetry/
Retinometry /estimation of visual acuity after surgery/
Ultrasound examination of the eye and computerized ultrasound biometry
Examination of the eyelids, the tear system, conjuctiva, cornea, lens, fundus

The clinic provides conservative and medicament treatment of disorders of the visual function and illnesses of the eye in children and adults. In addition to this, we provide all types of corrective glasses and soft contact lenses.

Examinations of the visual field, functions of the fundus and optic nerve, macula, are performed using a computerized campimeter

Laser photocoagulation of persons with diabetic retinopathy – ARGON laser.

Laser treatment of secondary cataract is performed comfortably and painlessly during only several minutes, using the contemporary YAG laser.

Surgical treatment at the clinic:

cataracts with lens implant (ultrasound – PHAKO surgery)
secondary cataracts with YAG laser
glaucoma /raised intraocular pressure/ laser intervention
changes of the conjuctiva and cornea, esotropia, disorders in the functioning of the lacrimal sac and lacrimal canals /rinsing and probing of lacrimal canals/, eyelids and area surrounding the eyes
ARGON laser therapy of diabetics

Surgical treatment is organized in a contemporary and well-equipped surgical department, with an operating theatre and day-surgery type suites, and there is no need for keeping the patient for a longer period of time.
